Cookie policy (EU)

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This notice explains cookies and similar storage on equip4cine.store. Our privacy policy also applies to the processing of personal data.

1. Your choice

Necessary storage enables the website to operate and provides the functions you expressly request. We load optional statistics with Google Analytics 4 only after you consent. You can reject or accept these in the banner and change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

2. Technically necessary storage

When you sign in, WordPress uses cookies for the session and to protect the sign-in process. WooCommerce may store session and basket identifiers when you use the basket or other shop functions. Public orders are not yet possible while the website is in coming-soon mode. This storage is linked to the respective function and is not used for advertising analysis.

• Complianz: cookies with the prefix cmplz_ store consent categories, banner status and version. The consent period is set to 365 days; you may then be asked to make a new choice.
• WordPress: sign-in and session cookies such as wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* apply for the chosen sign-in session. wordpress_test_cookie checks whether cookies are supported for sign-in.
• WooCommerce: woocommerce_items_in_cart and woocommerce_cart_hash are session cookies. wp_woocommerce_session_* associates the basket with the session and, by default, lasts two days for guests or seven days for signed-in users. These cookies become relevant when you use these shop functions.

The legal bases are section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and, depending on the purpose, Article 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR. Necessary evidence of consent is not affected by a later withdrawal.

3. Local settings you request

In our own shop design, e4c-appearance for light or dark mode and e4c-catalog-view for the product layout may be saved in your browser’s local storage. This storage has no fixed automatic expiry; you can delete it through your browser’s website-data settings. Wishlist and comparison functions may remember selected products for the session or your signed-in account. These functions are relevant only where they are offered and you use them.

4. Optional statistics: Google Analytics 4

After you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Without statistics consent, our Analytics tag is not loaded. It processes pseudonymous usage information about page views and interactions. The analysis is not fully anonymous.

• _ga distinguishes browsers or user identifiers.
• _ga_* stores session status.

These Analytics cookies are set to last two months from the first visit. Subsequent visits do not extend this period; browsers may shorten it further. Separately, Google’s retention of detailed user and event data is also limited to two months, without renewal based on activity. Most aggregated standard reports are not subject to this detailed-data retention period.

Google Signals, personalised advertising, detailed location and device data, and automatic form interactions are disabled. The legal bases are section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Details about data types, transfers and your rights are provided in the Google Analytics section of our privacy policy.

5. Withdrawal and browser settings

You can disable statistics through “Cookie settings”. Measurement stops and the page reloads without an active Analytics tag. This takes effect for the future; withdrawing consent does not automatically delete data already processed. You can contact us with a data-protection request.

You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Doing so may remove sign-in sessions, baskets and saved settings. Rejecting optional statistics does not affect the necessary basic functions.
